In recent years, Gavin has led a number of workshops for HUB Cycling, a charitable non-profit that has been removing barriers to cycling in Metro Vancouver for over 20 years. The workshops focused on various topics of interest to advocates, seeking to improve the quality and accessibility of active transportation infrastructure in Metro Vancouver. Recent workshops included:
Applying NACTO’s Urban Street Design and Bikeway Design Guides, and
Multi-Use Path Design Workshop.
Both workshops have helped HUB Cycling to build capacity and expertise in promoting best practices for cycling facility design throughout Metro Vancouver.
